Indians were not familiar with the concept of the 'cheergirls' until the introduction of the IPL(Indian Premier League). Indian people easily adapted to the cheergirls and the cheergirls adapted to the indian conditions too. They obviously raised some eyebrows tin the first edition of the IPL, but now they are inevitable part of the event.
